Materials

QThis type of magnet was the first product based on rare earths and cobalt. Its magnetic properties approach those of neodymium, with higher operating temperatures, from 200 up to 350 °C.

This product has not had a wide diffusion, due to the cost of the raw material, because of the presence of cobalt, even if, thanks to its quality to withstand temperatures and corrosion, in specific sectors, as military and aerospace field, they find a wide application. The main areas of use are: activation of sensors, measuring instruments, speakers, electric motors, chemistry.
